I ran across a great post about how to game Priceline for cheap hotels at CDF networks. You use a feature called free re-bidding to slowly increase your bid by $1 at a time to find the lowest price for the hotel room you're looking at. One person commented that his buddies got a $300 a night room for $100.

I'm not a rich guy.  I don't come from a wealthy family, nor have I made millions in the dotcom world.  I'm just an average guy with an average income.  However, my financial status hasn't kept me from wanting to live the good life and enjoy the finer things in life whenever I can.  My mom used to tell me I wanted wine on a beer budget.

This blog is dedicated to ways we can all enjoy the finer things without the requirements of a high end budget (relatively speaking of course since a budget is something relative to varying financial situations).  This includes everything from nice cars to fine wine and from high end electronics to world class travel.  Feel free to contribute your ideas, thoughts, dreams and tips through post comments and in our forums.

My hope is that we all gain a tip or two to help us enjoy the finer things in life once in a while.  For the times that isn't possible, we can at least dream about them together and see realistic ways we can work towards something nice without having to wait for money mogul status to enjoy it.
